Wendy’s an adversity expert. She’s a self-proclaimed work in progress who’s living life one mistake at a time. She’s learned that it’s not the challenges we face in life that matter, it’s the way we handle them. Through humor and stories, Wendy teaches audiences the importance of being centered, i.e., being driven by their values and taking charge of their direction. She thinks regardless of circumstance, everyone deserves to live a great life.

A product of corporate America, Wendy gained sales and management experience while working for AT&T. She was a corporate trainer for Norwest Bank prior to spending several years as a full-time mom. She then worked part time while training for and winning her age group at Ironman Wisconsin in 2007. After competing in the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii in 2008, her focus shifted to speaking, consulting, and writing. She works closely with Innovative Learning Strategies, LLC, a leadership development company, as a performance consultant ( www.ilstrategies.com ).
